Here I am, posing in a gas station, on our way home from Utah. I couldn't believe the amount of beef jerky that place stocked. I really wanted to buy the above pictured keychain, but I resisted and settled for a bag of Funyuns. Not so foxy.

You deserve that keychain. And I would've laughed a long time if you would've titled this post "I heart Beaver" instead of "Foxy Lady". :)
ReplyDeleteOK, Heather, I'm going to admit to you that I omitted an entire paragraph dedicated to "I heart Beaver." It was tacky, and I said to myself, "You sure have a trashy mind, taking a picture of your sweet, innocent son in front of a sweatshirt filled with sexual innuendo. You should be ashamed of yourself."
ReplyDeleteI'm ashamed; please forgive me.
There's nothing wrong with your computer, Louise. I was sitting in RS on Tues. night and the presidency presented a skit based on the parable of the Ten Virgins. I, of course, could identify with the five who were wild and crazy, especially the one who was a lover of loud laughter.
ReplyDeleteWhile I was listening to the lesson I kept thinking, "Why did you post that picture of Sam standing in front of an "I Heart Beaver" sweatshirt? You're such a pervert, and you'll do anything for a laugh."
I removed the picture of Sam as soon as I got home and forgot to repost it. So here's the "clean" version.
I bet that gas station in Beaver makes billions off those t-shirts.
My lamp has never been full. I'm the other metaphor: a lily in the field that neither toils nor spins. God made us too.
ReplyDeletegreat now all i can think about is funyuns. how was utah? cold and snowy?
ReplyDeleteWhen you removed this post I was seriously afraid that my comment offended you. Glad to see the editted post back up and running and you can delete my previous comment if you want to! :) There are all kinds of jokes about Beaver, Utah. Anyone from Utah has heard them all! :)
ReplyDeleteI just read your fb post about Morgan. We'll keep her in our prayers, bless her heart.
ReplyDeleteYOU COULD NEVER OFFEND ME! I love your comment, and when I read it I thought: I wish I could be Heather's visiting teacher; we'd totally be bffs.
Jill, Utah was cold and snowy, and that picture was taken over Christmas break. I'm seriously behind in my blogging.
You playing Nintendo right now?
Oh, Louise, I love MoTab's version of "Consider the Lilies." What will the Lord do with gals like us?
ReplyDelete:( sounds like I missed something. :(
ReplyDeleteI love your blogs girl!
